Upcoming events.
Island County will be conducting a
North Whidbey exercise on Monday 15 October starting at
approximately 5 PM and lasting until 9 or 9:30 PM.
Exercise will cover Three EOC’s,
County, Oak Harbor, and Navy, and four incident sites in the
Coupeville and Oak
Harbor areas. The
Communications Team will be used to support the exercise providing
information from and to the Sites and between the EOCs. If requested
Operators at the sites can be pulled into the exercise to provide direct
links to the EOCs for the on site Incident Commander. Operators will
also be working with the Red Cross providing communications from Incident
sites to the Chapter house and the EOCs. Anyone wishing more
information please let me know. At this time we are still three or
four people short and we would appreciate any help we can get.
